The pundits in the press --most of them, as usual -- are missing the game of the day: Auburn vs. Clemson. The standard storyline is that this is a contest between last year's national champs with a depleted roster versus a questionable, work-in-progress Clemson team. Ho-hum you might say, but my bet is that a good many coaching staffs will be studying the tape of this game. Why? See the Post & Courier's Travis Sawchick's article, "Clemson, Auburn offensive coordinators on the cutting edge of college football." Innovation is integral to winning in sport, and coordinators Malzahn & Morris embody that spirit. Go Tigers!
